Look out, Gold and Blue... 

Emerald Party is here to stay.

It's no secret that the Gold and Blue parties are old news. Throughout iGovern history, the pattern has remained constant. Two blue candidates, two gold candidates, and two party platforms that are nearly identical. Campaigns are conducted in a frenzied manner, and only one winner emerges.

Occasionally, a third party emerges and gains a few loyal followers, but they are always defeated by one of the more established parties. Some third parties have tried to run as write-ins, while others have had a difficult time getting onto the ballot. In our last campaign (2023) we managed not only to get on the ballot but to bring in a significant number of votes! To date, only one third-party candidate has ever participated in a presidential debate, and no third-party candidate has ever won an election. If you're satisfied with this record, it's best to stick with the traditional route and align yourself with Gold or Blue. That's perfectly fine, and we understand.

However, if you're someone who desires change and is a visionary, the Emerald party is for you. We can't guarantee riches or fame, but we can promise that you'll be a part of the most ambitious party in iGovern history. We've already run in 2023 and we're excited to be a part of the 2024 iGovern year!

The Emerald Difference

At first glance, our goals seem impossible. After all, if every third party that has ever run before failed, what makes us think we stand a chance? The answer is simple: We aren't like any third party that has ever run before. 

Our unique strategy depends upon three things: 

1. We've Been Planning Forever 

The Emerald party was founded on the very last day of iGovern East 2022. Yes, you heard that right. By the time of the 2024 election, the Emerald Party will be approaching our two-year anniversary. We already planned every detail of our platform, campaign, and strategy for the 2023 campaign and made huge impact! We've done and incredible amount of work as a party again and expect to make even more of a difference this year in 2024. Most third parties are formed during camp, giving them a grand total of 4 days (at the most) to make complicated decisions and come up with everything that they need. The result can be platforms that are not well thought out and clashing party members. We are confident that extensive planning will give us an obvious competitive advantage not in our first but our second campaign as the Emerald Party.

2. We Are Committed to What You Want

The Emerald Party is the people's government. We stand for "We the People." We want to accurately represent and legislate the needs and wants of the American people. Our presidential candidates plan to surround themselves with bipartisan advisors that actually know what they are doing. We plan to constantly ask for feedback from you, the people who our legislation will affect the most. We are not going to make laws based on our personal preferences (Monster Zero Ultra, anyone?), or issue an obnoxious amount of executive orders. We want to know what you want. 3. We Have Strong Party Identity

Since we started out small, party identity is a huge component of Emerald Life. If you join the Emerald party, you will be rising above the fray and entering into an elite, tight-knit, unified league of dreamers. The Squid Squad will adopt you as our own. You will be one of us. To The Emerald Party, you are more than just a vote or an arbitrary checkbox that you filled out in camp registration.
